| Obverse description | Square flan with the Armenian national coat of arms — a double-headed eagle supporting a central shield — depicted in the upper centre of the field. The field is framed by an ornamental border of interlaced Celtic-style knotwork along the top and decorative traditional folk motifs, including geometric rosettes and meander patterns, arranged symmetrically along the left and right margins. The denomination '1000 ԴՐԱՄ' (1000 Dram) is inscribed in two lines in the lower centre. Surrounding legends read 'Հայաստանի Հանրապետություն' (Republic of Armenia) at the top in Armenian script, 'Republic of Armenia 2018' along the right margin in Latin script, 'Pottery of the World' along the left margin, and 'Աշխարհի Կերամիկա' along the lower margin in Armenian script. |
