Obverse description The Armenian state coat of arms occupies the upper central field, depicting a heraldic eagle and lion supporting a quartered shield, rendered in high relief. Below the arms, the denomination '1000' is prominently displayed in large numerals, followed by the bilingual inscription 'դրամ dram' in Armenian and Latin script. The lower field carries the legend 'REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA' in bold Latin letters. Along the right vertical border, the Armenian legend 'ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ' is inscribed vertically. The design is framed by a plain rectangular border with rounded corners.
