| Obverse description | The obverse of this square, color-enhanced silver coin features a central panel divided into four quadrants, each depicting a polychrome illuminated manuscript-style motif inspired by Armenian medieval religious art. The upper-left quadrant shows a dove in flight; the upper-right depicts a haloed figure reclining; the lower-left portrays a standing haloed saint holding a cross amid foliate branches; and the lower-right shows a second haloed saint with a cross. To the right of the central panel, the Armenian state coat of arms is rendered in relief. The denomination '1000 ԴՌԱՄ' appears along the lower edge in Armenian script, with the date '2010' inscribed vertically on the left border.
