Reverse description	The reverse is rendered in blue, red, and olive tones over a light multicolour guilloche underprint. A large intaglio vignette at centre portrays the Bank of Guyana headquarters building in Georgetown, shown in three-quarter perspective with a fountain and forecourt in the foreground and a latticed pylon to the right. A white tropical flower vignette appears at lower right, while ornate guilloche rosettes carrying the numeral "$1000" are placed at upper left, lower left, and upper right. The issuer name "BANK OF GUYANA" runs along the top, and "ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS $1000" is inscribed along the lower border; the printer's imprint "THOMAS DE LA RUE LIMITED" appears in small lettering at the foot.
