Energopetrol was the state petroleum distribution company for Bosnia-Herzegovina under Yugoslav self-management socialism. Like other large socialist enterprises, it had authority to issue internal payment instruments — effectively scrip — that workers or affiliated entities could redeem for fuel or services. These vouchers circulated within a closed economic ecosystem, not through any banking channel, which means survival rates are entirely random: some were redeemed and destroyed, others were simply forgotten in desk drawers.
The Sarajevo printing origin is consistent with Energopetrol's operations, though the specific printer is unrecorded in standard references.
