Obverse description Central field displays a four-line Arabic-script legend within a raised circular border, reading the royal titulature of Reza Shah Pahlavi, Shahanshah of Iran. The legend is enclosed by a decorative wreath of olive and oak branches tied at the base, with the mint name Tehran (تهران) inscribed in the lower exergue below the wreath. The coin's rim is defined by a fine dentillated border running the full circumference.

Reverse description Central device depicts the Imperial Iranian emblem: a lion passant to the left, brandishing an upright sword in its right forepaw, set before a radiant rising sun issuing rays across the field. The Pahlavi crown appears above the sun at the top of the device. The lion and sun motif is framed by a decorative wreath of olive and oak branches tied at the base. Below the lion, the denomination legend appears in Arabic script, with the Iranian solar Hijri date ۱۳۰۵ inscribed in the lower field beneath the wreath. A dentillated border frames the entire design.
