Obverse description Facing left bust of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar in military uniform with epaulettes, wearing the traditional Qajar crown, set within an ornate wreath composed of oak branches to the left and olive branches to the right, tied at the base. The Arabic legend arcs across the upper field reading 'Al-Sultan Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar', with the AH date 1326 inscribed in Eastern Arabic numerals at the base below the wreath. The entire design is enclosed within a fine beaded border.
