Obverse description Facing left bust effigy of Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar wearing a traditional Persian Kajar military uniform with epaulettes and a tall lambskin kolah adorned with a jewelled aigrette at center. The portrait is framed by two symmetrical floral and foliate branches tied at the base, extending upward to either side of the effigy. A curved Persian legend arcs around the upper field reading the shah's full royal titles, with the AH date 1319 inscribed in Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals at the base in the exergue. The coin border is defined by a uniform beaded rim.
