Obverse description Bust of Ahmad Shah Qajar facing slightly forward, wearing a traditional Qajar jewelled karakul cap adorned with an aigrette of radiating feathers. The shah is depicted in military uniform with epaulettes visible at the shoulders. A wreath composed of olive and oak branches, tied with a ribbon at the base, frames the effigy on either side. The Arabic legend arcs around the upper field, and the Solar Hijri date appears in Eastern Arabic numerals in the exergue below the wreath. A beaded border runs along the coin's rim.
