Reverse description Central vignette illustrating miners at work in a mine shaft, rendered in intaglio in rose-red tones. The issuer name 'BANCO CENTRAL DE BOLIVIA' is inscribed across the top, with the face value '1000 BOLIVIANOS' and 'MIL BOLIVIANOS' appearing at right and below the vignette respectively.
