Obverse description The obverse features the crowned Polish eagle displayed, with wings spread and head turned to the right, rendered in bold relief at center. The date 1977 is split across the lower field, flanking the eagle's talons, with the mint mark (MW) visible below. The denomination 100 ZŁ appears in large numerals at the bottom of the field, flanked by the abbreviations ZŁ on either side. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA runs along the periphery. The design is engraved by Stanisława Wątróbska-Frindt in a clean, modernist style characteristic of Polish People's Republic coinage.
