| Obverse description | Central device features the Polish crowned White Eagle displayed, with wings spread and head turned to the right, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA runs along the upper periphery, while the date 1998 is divided by the eagle's talons at the lower centre, flanked by the denomination ZŁ 100 ZŁ. The mint mark of the Mint of Poland (MW) appears as a small flower device beneath the eagle's breast. The design is executed in the standard heraldic style used on Polish commemorative gold issues of this period. |
