| Reverse description | The reverse features the conjoined crowned busts of Prince Mieszko I and Princess Dąbrówka in left-facing profile, rendered in a stylized, relief sculptural manner evoking Romanesque art. The denomination 100 ZŁ appears in a rectangular cartouche at the lower center, flanked by the names MIESZKO and DĄBRÓWKA inscribed along the lower arc. The word PRÓBA (trial/pattern) appears to the right of the busts in the field, and the engraver's initials W.K. are present, identifying Wacław Kowalik. The overall design commemorates the millennium of the Polish state. |
