| Obverse description | The Polish White Eagle (Orzeł Biały), the national coat of arms, displayed facing forward with wings spread, rendered in high relief within a raised central disc set against a recessed annular field. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 1973 continuing at the right. The denomination ZŁ 100 ZŁ, flanked by raised dots, appears in large characters along the lower rim. The mint mark MW is present beneath the eagle. The overall design reflects the standard heraldic style of the Polish People's Republic coinage. |
