| Obverse description | The Polish national eagle displayed with wings spread, facing right, rendered in high relief at centre of the field. The date 1979 is split across the lower body of the eagle, with '19' to the left and '79' to the right. The denomination '100' appears prominently in the lower field, flanked by the abbreviation 'ZŁ' on each side.
