| Obverse description | The Polish state eagle displayed in high relief occupies the central field, depicted without a crown in the style of the People's Republic, with wings spread and talons prominent. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA arcs around the upper periphery. The date is split to either side of the eagle's body, reading 19 and 78, with the mint mark MW below. The denomination 100 appears in large numerals at the base of the field, flanked by the currency abbreviations ZŁ on either side. |
