Obverse description The Polish state eagle displayed at center, rendered in high relief with spread wings, head turned to the right, and a crown above the head — the emblem of the Polish People's Republic. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA runs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 100 ZŁ flanks the lower portion of the eagle's body. The date 19 83 appears divided across the lower field to either side of the eagle's tail, with the Warsaw Mint mark (MW) visible below. The design reflects the official state heraldry of the communist-era Polish republic.
