| Obverse description | The obverse features the crowned Polish eagle displayed, rendered in high relief with spread wings and head turned to the right, serving as the national arms of the Republic of Poland. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination ZŁ 100 ZŁ appears in the lower field flanking the date 2003, which is positioned at either side of the eagle's body. The mint mark MW appears below the eagle. The design is executed in polished proof finish with frosted devices against a mirror field. |
