Reverse description A portrait bust of Bolesław III Krzywousty (Boleslaus III Wrymouth, r. 1102–1138) facing slightly left, depicted in medieval royal regalia including a jeweled crown and armor, rendered in high relief with fine engraved detail. The ruler's name BOLESŁAW III KRZYWOUSTY is inscribed in two lines arcing along the upper periphery, divided on either side of the portrait. The regnal dates 1102 - 1138 appear in the lower field below the bust, completing the legend.
