| Obverse description | The Polish state eagle displayed in the right field, rendered in high relief with spread wings, talons clasped, and crowned head facing right in the national heraldic tradition. To the left of the eagle, the coat of arms of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński is depicted, featuring a bishop's mitre and crossed pastoral staff above a shield with ecclesiastical symbols. The curved legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper rim, while the denomination 100 ZŁ and the date 2021 are inscribed along the lower right field. The mint mark MW appears below the eagle. |

| Additional information |
Cardinal Wyszyński spent nearly three years imprisoned by Poland's communist government between 1953 and 1956, following his refusal to endorse state interference in Church appointments under the terms of an agreement the regime itself had violated. His beatification, confirmed by Pope Francis and celebrated in Warsaw in September 2021, had been delayed for decades partly due to the lengthy canonical investigations typical of cause proceedings and partly by the political sensitivities surrounding his outspoken anti-communist record.
