Obverse description The Polish state emblem — a crowned white eagle with wings displayed, facing right, rendered in high relief against a polished field — occupies the centre of the obverse. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA runs along the upper periphery, while the denomination ZŁ 100 ZŁ is inscribed along the lower border. The date is split to either side of the eagle's body, reading 20 and 05 respectively in the lower field.
