Obverse description Central field features the circular emblem of the Republic of South Ossetia, depicting a winged leopard passant before a mountain landscape, surrounded by the bilingual legends 'РЕСПУБЛИКӔ ХУССАР ИРЫСТОН' in Ossetian and 'РЕСПУБЛИКА ЮЖНАЯ ОСЕТИЯ' in Russian along the inner ring. Above the emblem, the Cyrillic legend 'НАЦИОНАЛОН БАНК' arcs across the upper field, while the denomination '100 ЗÆРИНЫ', date '2022', and fineness and weight indicators 'Au999' and '31.1' appear in the lower field. The entire composition is framed by elaborate symmetrical acanthus-scroll ornamental borders in high relief on both lateral sides, rendered on a matte black background. The Saint Petersburg Mint mark (СПМД) appears at upper right.

Reverse description Finely detailed high-relief depiction of a dramatic scene from the Nart Sagas, after a painting by Ossetian artist Makharbeg Tuganov, showing a turbulent battle feast with numerous heroic figures engaged in combat, rendered in an intricate sculptural style filling the entire rectangular field. The composition captures the energy and dynamism of the legendary Nart warriors, with figures in traditional dress wielding swords and shields amid a crowded, expressive tableau. A horizontal legend band in the lower exergue, set against a matte black background, bears the inscription identifying the work and its author.
