Obverse description Central vignette to the left shows a horse-drawn plough in a cultivated field, rendered in a letterpress agricultural scene typical of Chinese Communist-era regional notes. The bank title 東北銀行 (Tung Pei Bank of China) is inscribed in large characters across the upper portion, flanked by serial number prefix and numeral. The denomination 壹百圓 appears in bold Chinese characters at centre-right within a decorative guilloche frame, with subsidiary value numerals at lower corners and the date in Republican calendar at the bottom margin.
