Reverse description A full-figure portrait of the legendary Yellow Emperor Huang Di (轩辕黄帝) is depicted in the left-center field, rendered in fine relief, shown standing and facing slightly right, dressed in traditional ancient Chinese robes with a distinctive flat-topped ceremonial headdress. To the upper right of his figure, the Chinese inscription 轩辕黄帝 identifies the subject. Flanking him in the right field are symbolic inventions attributed to his reign, including a pottery vessel and a wheeled cart, with a further implement rendered below. A decorative character panel appears to the left. The denomination 100元 is inscribed in the lower right portion of the field.
