Reverse description The right half of the field is dominated by a large, finely detailed depiction of an ancient Chinese bronze ritual urn (zun), richly ornamented with taotie masks, dragon handles, and registers of scrollwork characteristic of Shang Dynasty bronzework. To the left, a narrative scene depicts artisans engaged in the bronze-casting process: workers tending a furnace with molten metal, craftsmen shaping clay moulds, and a figure grinding at a stone, evoking the sophisticated metallurgical tradition of approximately the 16th century BC. The denomination 100元 appears in the lower field. An inscription in the upper left identifies the subject and its historical date.
