A vignette of a traditional Chinese temple gateway occupies the upper portion of the note, rendered in fine letterpress. The denomination 壹百圓 (One Hundred Yuan) appears in a guilloche cartouche at centre-lower, with the bank name 冀南銀行 inscribed at the top in Chinese characters and a serial number prefix and red official seals at the base. |
