| Obverse description | Brown intaglio print on plain paper. A portrait vignette of Mao Tse-tung is positioned at right within a fine-line engraved frame. The denomination 壹百圓 appears in large Chinese characters at centre within an ornate arch-shaped underprint, flanked by corner panels bearing the denomination in Chinese. The bank title 華中銀行 runs along the top, with the date inscription 中華民國三十四年 below the central vignette area alongside the serial number. |
