| Obverse description | At center, a stylized rectangular cartouche framed by intricate traditional Chinese taotie (饕餮) mask motifs rendered in high relief, evoking ancient bronze vessel ornamentation. Within the cartouche, two large Chinese characters are inscribed in an archaic seal-script style. The legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) curves around the upper periphery of the coin in Chinese characters, while the date 2019 appears in the lower exergue.
