Reverse description At center, a stylized depiction of the traditional Tibetan ceremonial knot or auspicious symbol (the Endless Knot, one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism), rendered in high relief. Behind it, a panoramic view of a snow-capped mountain range frames the lower field. The denomination 100元 appears in the lower central field. The commemorative legend 西藏和平解放六十周年 (60th Anniversary of the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet) runs along the upper periphery in Chinese characters, with a corresponding Tibetan script inscription completing the circular border. Decorative floral motifs ornament the lower rim.
