Reverse description The large numeral '100' dominates the center of the field in bold relief, serving as the primary denomination indicator. Flanking the numeral on either side are small decorative dolphin motifs, referencing the marine theme of the Okinawa Expo. At the top of the coin, the circular EXPO'75 emblem — comprising a stylized wave design within a disc — is inscribed with 'EXPO'75' to its left and 'OKINAWA' to its right, all along the upper rim. The Japanese era date 昭和50年 (Year 50 of Shōwa, corresponding to 1975) is inscribed along the lower portion of the field in bold characters. The reverse is contained within a plain inner border and reeded outer rim.
