Reverse description Central field presents a bold frontal elevation of a Shinkansen bullet train, emphasising the characteristic aerodynamic nose cone, headlights, and pantograph cowling, conveying a sense of power and modernity. Encircling the upper portion of the field, the commemorative legend 新幹線鉄道開業50年 (50th Anniversary of Shinkansen Railway Opening) is inscribed in Japanese characters, flanked by raised dots.
