Reverse description The crowned coat of arms of the city of Veurne occupies the central field, depicting a rampant lion on a semé field within a shield surmounted by a mural crown. The city name VEURNE appears in the upper legend, the date 1983 is divided to either side of the shield, and the denomination 100 VORE is inscribed along the lower legend. Small floral ornaments decorate the field at the cardinal points.
