| Obverse description | The obverse of this rectangular silver note-shaped piece features an ornate central medallion depicting the Mongolian Soyombo national emblem surmounted by a flame finial, framed within an arched cartouche in the style of a traditional Mongolian architectural motif. The inscription 'BANK OF MONGOLIA' appears prominently in the upper left field, with a certification legend below attesting to the piece's status as legal tender of The Bank of Mongolia. The script 'Mongol Bank' is rendered in flowing calligraphic lettering across the lower portion of the central medallion. Technical specifications — 'Ag .999 · 5 g · 5000 pcs · 150 x 70 mm · 2023' — are inscribed in a dark banner in the lower field, while the denomination '100 TOGROG' appears at the right. A unique serial number is printed vertically along the right edge. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a richly colored composition dominated by a large silver effigy of a seated rabbit rendered in high relief at center, depicted in a naturalistic posture facing the observer. Behind the rabbit, a scenic background features cherry blossom branches at upper left and stylized grasses at right, evoking a traditional East Asian aesthetic. The upper left field bears the legend 'YEAR OF THE RABBIT' in bold Latin lettering, while a finely detailed Mongolian mandala-style rosette ornament occupies the lower left quadrant. The denomination '100' appears twice — in the lower left corner and within an ornamental blue cartouche at the right — completing the banknote-inspired design. |

| Additional information |
Mongolia has issued lunar calendar coins with some regularity, but the 2023 Rabbit entry in this series is among the lighter silver strikes in the program — five grams places it firmly in the small-format gift-market category that became commercially dominant in Asian numismatic retail through the 2010s. The Bank of Mongolia has leaned heavily on this market, licensing designs through European minting intermediaries, most commonly Bald Eagle or B.H. Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt in Germany.
