| Obverse description | Central field features the State Emblem of Kazakhstan — a shanyrak (the upper dome of a yurt) with sun rays radiating outward, framed by wings of mythical horses — rendered in fine relief against a stippled background. The denomination '100' appears in large ornate numerals in the lower central field, with the word 'ТЕҢГЕ' inscribed below along the bottom rim. Decorative Kazakh national scrollwork flanks the central emblem on both sides.
