| Obverse description | The bimetallic obverse features the national emblem of Kazakhstan in the copper-nickel centre, depicting a shanyrak (the crown of a yurt) with sun rays radiating outward, flanked by mythical winged horses (tulpars), with the inscription 'QAZAQSTAN' on the shield below. The mint mark 'QUB' appears in the lower right of the inner field. The denomination '100' is prominently displayed at the base of the centre disc. The outer nickel brass ring bears the circular legend 'QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY' at the top and '• TEŃGE •' at the bottom, separated by ornamental dots. |
