The emblem depicts a shanyrak (the crown of a yurt) against a solar backdrop, flanked by mythical winged horses (tulpars), with the legend ҚАЗАҚСТАН (QAZAQSTAN) inscribed on a ribbon below. The circular legend reads ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ • REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN along the upper periphery, running from left to right.
