The legend АБАЙ. ИБРАhИМ. ҚҰНАНБАЙҰЛЫ arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border. The birth year 1845 appears to the left and the death year 1904 to the right of the portrait. The lower field features a series of low-relief vignettes depicting scenes from Abai's poetic works, including figures in traditional Kazakh attire. |
