| Obverse description | Intaglio portrait vignette of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (Bangabandhu) at centre-left, rendered in deep rose-carmine against a fine guilloche underprint in shades of green and pink. The Bangladesh Bank title appears in Bengali script within an ornate panel at centre, flanked by the denomination numeral "100" at upper right and a large stylised taka symbol at left; the commemorative inscription and date range "১৯২০-২০২০" are printed in red at the top.
