Reverse description Central vignette of the Ecuadorian national coat of arms — an oval cartouche surmounted by a condor with spread wings, enclosing a landscape with Mount Chimborazo and a steamer on the Guayas River — set within an elaborate engraved frame. Large intaglio numerals '100' occupy the left and right panels against a fine guilloche background in violet-purple tones, with 'CIEN' inscribed at either side of the central vignette. The upper margin repeats 'BANCO CENTRAL DEL ECUADOR' and the lower margin carries 'CIEN SUCRES' along with the printer's imprint.
