Obverse description The national arms of Uzbekistan displayed centrally in the field, depicting a Humo bird with outstretched wings set against a rising sun, flanked by wheat sheaves and cotton bolls, with a river and mountains in the background and a cartouche inscribed 'O'ZBEKISTON' at the base. The circular legend 'O'ZBEKISTON MARKAZIY BANKI' runs along the upper periphery, separated by dot borders. The fineness 'AG 999,9' appears to the lower left and the weight '31,1 g' to the lower right, with the year '2001' inscribed at the bottom of the field.

The circular legend 'O'ZBEKISTON MUSTAQILLIGINING 10 YILLIGI' (10th Anniversary of Uzbekistan's Independence) arcs around the upper periphery, separated from the central motif by a beaded border. The denomination '100 SO'M' is inscribed in two lines at the base of the field in bold lettering.
