Reverse description A finely detailed portrait of an ox head is depicted facing left at three-quarter view, centered within a raised inner circle that separates the central device from the outer legend. The animal's curved, ribbed horns extend prominently to either side, and the musculature of the face and neck is rendered with naturalistic relief. The legend BANK OF UGANDA arcs along the upper border outside the inner circle, while the date 2004 and the inscription OX appear in the lower exergual area, flanked by two small circular pellets.
