Obverse description The national coat of arms of Uganda displayed centrally in the field, featuring a shield supported by two kob antelopes, with a crested crane atop the shield and a representation of the River Nile and the Rwenzori Mountains at the base. The circular legend 'BANK OF UGANDA' arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination '100 SHILLINGS' appears in the lower field. The patriotic motto 'FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY' is inscribed on the scroll at the base of the arms.
