Uganda's wildlife coin program of the early 2000s was aimed squarely at the collector market rather than domestic circulation, with pieces like this issued in multiple metals and largely sold through foreign distributors. KM#203 is the copper-nickel circulation-strike variant in that series, the version least likely to have actually passed through Ugandan hands.
