Obverse description The Ugandan coat of arms, set against an outline map of Uganda, is positioned at left centre, with the national motto scroll reading 'FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY' beneath the shield supported by a kob and crested crane. A large interlocking guilloche vignette in red and black occupies the centre, with the denomination numeral '100' rendered in intaglio within, flanked by ornate rosette underprints in blue at upper left and a Bank of Uganda seal vignette at lower right. The issuer name in red letterpress and the bilingual denomination inscription in English and Swahili appear across the upper portion, with a legal tender clause below.
