Obverse description Right-facing crowned bust of King Solomon occupying the central field, depicted with long flowing beard and hair, wearing an ornate royal crown with detailed relief work and a draped mantle. The portrait is rendered in a bold, high-relief medallic style. The upper legend in Hebrew reads שלמה מלך ישראל (Solomon King of Israel), while the lower arc carries the Latin legend SOLOMON KING OF ISRAEL flanked by Stars of David. The Hebrew year 5722 appears to the left and the Gregorian year 1962 to the right, each flanked by small six-pointed stars. The entire design is bordered by a fine beaded rim.
