Obverse description Intaglio portrait vignette of Angelika Kauffmann (1741–1807), the Austro-Swiss Neoclassical painter, rendered in three-quarter bust facing left and occupying the right portion of the note, with her name and dates inscribed below. To the left, an oval guilloche medallion encloses the Austrian double-headed eagle coat of arms, set against a multicolour underprint of interlocking rosette patterns. Three manuscript signatures appear in the lower centre beneath their respective titles GENERALRAT, PRÄSIDENT, and GENERALDIREKTOR, with the issue place and date WIEN AM 2. JÄNNER 1969 printed above them.
