| Obverse description | A three-quarter portrait of General Sudirman is positioned to the left, executed in intaglio against a red guilloche underprint enclosed by decorative floral scroll borders. The Indonesian coat of arms appears at upper centre within an ornate cartouche, flanked by the issuing authority legend and denomination in large letterpress. Two manuscript signatures at lower centre are captioned GUBERNUR and DIREKTUR respectively, with the date 1968 printed between them. |

By 1968, Bank Indonesia had been issuing domestically printed notes for over a decade, but the Kebayoran press was operating under real constraints — limited inking technology, inconsistent paper supply, and no intaglio capability. This series shows it. The flat lithographic printing lacks the tactile depth of contemporary issues from Joh. Enschedé or De La Rue, and collectors should expect color registration inconsistencies across the run, which are a production characteristic rather than an error.
Percetakan Kebayoran closed in 1971, and this note falls near the end of its operational output.
