| Obverse description | Rectangular certificate printed in purple on cream paper, with ornate guilloche border framing the entire face. The Ashoka Lion Capital emblem of India appears at centre top, flanked by denomination numeral 100 in decorative cartouches at left and right. The main text panel carries the certificate contract legend, with the issuing post office, date, register number, and Postmaster signature line at foot. |

The Government of India undertake to pay to him, on presentation of this Certificate at the aforesaid Post Office on or after the Rs. 125/- or at any earlier date one sum not exceeding Rs. 125/- specified on the reverse of this Certificate as due on such date.
