| Obverse description | Central field features the national arms of Nepal — a stylized shield depicting the Himalayan mountains — enclosed within a decorative cartouche of curved lines with ornamental nodes at the corners. The legend NEPAL appears at the top in Latin script, with the Devanagari equivalent नेपाल inscribed below the shield. The Bikram Sambat year २०७१ (2014 AD) is positioned at the bottom of the design.
