Reverse description A central relief depicts Mahatma Gandhi striding forward in three-quarter view, clad in his characteristic dhoti and shawl, holding a tall walking staff, leading a group of followers in commemoration of the historic Salt March of 1930. Several marchers are shown flanking Gandhi on both sides, rendered in detailed relief against a mirror-proof field. A bilingual legend arcs around the upper periphery reading '75 YEARS OF DANDI MARCH' in Latin script and 'दांडी यात्रा के ७५ वर्ष' in Devanagari. The commemorative dates '1930–2005' appear in the exergue at the base of the design.
